St. John’s Presbyterian Church and Center is a community resource providing space to non-profit organizations for meetings, events, classes, rehearsals, and concerts. With the exception of weddings and memorials, space is available to non-profits only. Please email sjoffice@stjohnsberkeley.org to inquire about a calendar date and to make an appointment to visit the space.
SPACE USE REQUIREMENTS
Scheduled time begins with group’s designated arrival time and ends with group’s designated departure time; Time includes set-up and clean-up time. Groups are responsible for their own setup and cleanup (including trash/recycling) and to leave the space as they found it. The facility is available from 8am to 9:30pm.
All St. John's rooms are ADA accessible (See details on Ramp locations)
No events scheduled on Cal Football game days.
REQUIRED at the time of scheduling:
• A copy of the organization’s 501 (c) (3) not for profit tax status letter.
• Certificate of Insurance naming St. John’s Presbyterian Church as an additional insured ($1 million coverage) for events held here.
• Signed Use Agreement
• A 50% room reservation deposit
• $250 security deposit
• Balance of the fee is due 30 days prior to the scheduled event date
• Upon issurance of a Space Use Agreement, the balance of the fee is due 30 days prior to the scheduled event.

Miscellaneous Information
On many occasions, event planners will bring their own sound equipment and electronics for the Sanctuary. If you would like to use St. John's equipment, here are the fees for rental:
• One Microphone/Stand $75
• Two Microphones/Stands $100
• One Jack for electronic hookup $75
• Two Jacks for electronic hook-ups $100
• 80" TV (in Sanctuary) $75
• 50" TV (in Hunter Hall) $50
• Portable PA System (in HH/Fireside) $75
The following inventory is available to use with the rental of Hunter Hall/Fireside:
Eight - 8' rectangular tables (30" wide x 29" height)
Ten - 12' rectangular tables (33.75" wide x 30" height)
Fourteen - 5' round tables (29" height)
Six - 33" round Bistro tables (43.3" height)
180 chairs (brown, padded, fold-up)
